Now that you have looked at the many different pieces of Scrimshaw that I've made, you've decided you just "have to have" one (or more) of my works of art.  Below are the ways you can place an order for these items.
Satisfaction on all work is 100% Guaranteed. Work does not leave my shop unless it meets the highest quality standards.

Please note: Care does have to be taken with each piece of Scrimshaw. Sunlight and heat are harmful to both the Ivories and the inks and can cause fading and/or cracking. Each color is sealed with layers of wax. Do not take any scrimshaw into the shower or go swimming as it can be damaging to the ink and ivory. The Scrimshaw art work is finely etched with lines and dots. This work is all done by hand. Care should be taken to avoid marring the surface, thus destroying the integrity of the work.
 
Request/Design

• Contact me via email using our Online Form. Click the link, fill in the appropriate fields and send the request.  A response will be sent in 1 to 4 days.

• Any piece on the web site that has a price is available for purchase and can be shipped in 1 to 3 days from placement of the order. Pieces without a price on the web site are available by order only.
• You can have your favorite pet, a child's face, or something else you cherish scrimshawed as an original work of art on a pendant, knife, belt buckle, money clip, earrings, knife handles, gun grips, etc.
• Send me photos or graphic of the original design you wish to have scrimmed. I will choose the best photo for the job. There are no preliminary drawings.
• If you do not know exactly what you want scrimmed, I will offer suggestions as you discuss your ideas with me.
• To consistently yield the finest art work, you first have to start with the finest materials. Ivory is the best possible canvas for scrimshaw work. These include elephant, hippo, fossil walrus and mammoth or mastodon. Antler, horn, bone and some plastics are acceptable, but for premium results, ivory is preferred.

Cost

• Average price for scrimshaw is $150 to $250 per square inch.
• The final price depends on the size and shape of the project, the material being worked, the number of figures (one wolf or a pack of wolves) in the overall design and the background details
• When I am working on your own pool cue, knife, etc, no money is necessary until the work is completed
  

Shipping

• If an item has a price listed, it is in stock and can be shipped within a few days. Delivery date for all custom orders will be established when your order is placed.
• Orders are shipped using USPS, UPS or Fed-Ex. Customer pays for the shipping unless otherwise arranged.
