Reproductions are the same great scrimshaw quality and art work that you see in all my work that is much higher priced, but scrimmed on a high quality, imitation ivory color resin. I will scrim a design in ivory. The piece is then sent to a manufacturer who creates a mold of the scrimshaw piece and replicates it in a high quality, imitation ivory color resin. Then, I add the ink, making beautiful scrimshaw works of art for a very reasonable price. Because of the nature of the reproduction material properties, only black ink or sepia tones are used, thus designs are somewhat limited.

When a mounting piece is required, for pendants, earrings, tie tacks, cufflinks, etc., I use gold plated mounts and each one includes a 20" chain. All the reproduction pendants come with a gift box as well. Reproduction arrowheads have a black wire wrapped bail and 20" soft leather cord strung with beads and/or horsehair. Custom orders are accepted for reproduction pieces, however, there are minimum quantities required for each order.
